
Application Engineer – Electrical Markets Division

- Deliver application engineering support and expertise to industrial customers and power utilities across Chile, Argentina, Peru, and other LATAM countries.
- Partner with key accounts to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise to develop effective solutions.
- Review and interpret documents, quotations, and bids.
- Create technical documentation, including product specifications and user manuals.
- Stay informed about local standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products and solutions.
- Provide solutions for mining industry customers.
- Oversee product homologation processes with power utilities and industrial customers.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for product homologation.
- Travel to customer sites as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably Electrical Engineering. Degrees in Materials Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics are also acceptable.
- Advanced proficiency in English, as the entire process will be conducted in this language.
- Expertise in medium voltage (MV) electrical products and their applications.
- Familiarity with regulations in the regional electrical market.
- Competence in preparing technical documentation, including product specifications, instruction sheets, and technical datasheets.
- Strong ability to analyze bid documents and prepare technical proposals.
- Experience with electrical products in the mining sector.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Experience in conducting product homologation processes with power utilities.
- Proven ability to work with key accounts and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to travel domestically and within the LATAM region.
- Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at Santiago de Chile.
