Based in either Santiago, Chile or São Paulo, Brazil, this position leads a sales team, collaborates closely with the User Success and Marketing teams, and fosters relationships with key stakeholders. The RBDM is responsible for developing regional business development plans for each segment, managing sales processes, achieving targets, and leading negotiations for business-to-business contracts. Additionally, the role supports budgeting and forecasting activities and promotes the implementation of best-practice sales methodologies.**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:- Develop regional business development plans with the Regional Sales Managers and Directors.
- Generate high quality sales pipeline for the Mining, Environment, Civil and Energy Segments in Latin America.
- Implement best practice business development methodologies for new and existing customers.
- Motivate and lead the new business team, providing training and resources.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on customer service.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships across global offices.**To be successful in this role, you should have**:- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of business experience.
- 7+ years of experience in leading business teams.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and management skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust understanding of key technology and market trends.
- Experience in mining, geoscience, or related industries preferred.
- Proven track record in business development, sales strategy, or commercial negotiations.
- Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.**Additional Information**The Regional Business Development Manager at Seequent involve a dynamic and collaborative environment. The role is based in either Santiago, Chile or São Paulo, Brazil, and requires frequent travel across Latin America. The manager will lead a team of sales representatives, focusing on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the mining, civil, environment and energy industries. Responsibilities include setting sales and pipeline targets, developing strategic plans, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. The position demands strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the mining industry is required, and the ability to create a high-performing sales culture.
