GENERAL MANAGER - SOUTHERN CONE CUSTOMER CENTER (Chile & Argentina)Are you a dynamic and visionary leader who thrives on driving sustainable growth, building high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer value? Do you dare to challenge the status quo and lead with innovation, collaboration, and commitment?Our Surface Division is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and develop our Customer Centers in Chile and Argentina, focusing on revenue, profitability, and operational and capital efficiency targets.About the RoleAs General Manager your mission is to achieve sustainable profitable growth with a customer focus, including full profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet responsibility for the business operations in the Customer Centers. You will develop a long-term strategy for the local business that supports the Group's overall goals and build an effective and efficient customer-centric organization that meets year-over-year financial goals for revenue, profitability, operational efficiency. You will also drive the sustainable goals for our company health & safety, diversity & inclusion and environmental responsibility. Above all, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within the company.In this role, you will coach and develop a transparent and ethical organization that promotes Epiroc values, meets or exceeds all standards put forth by regulatory entities, and ensures full compliance with Epiroc business code of conduct. You will drive business with customer centricity as your guiding principle, ensuring outstanding customer experience and a strategic approach towards winning market share. As General Manager you will also optimize territory management and go-to-market channels to safeguard profitable growth, and develop the aftermarket business - in particular, service operations - in accordance with the Parts and Service Divisions' specific requirements.The person we are looking for is not only a facilitator, a manager and a team builder, but also a challenger that “dares to think new”.Key responsibilities
  • Organic growth built on a solid understanding of our customer-base and market potential for our product offering, with strong territory, key account and business
partner management process to retain existing customers, grow market share and increase consolidated profitability across Chile & Argentina.
  • Ensure transparency and predictability in the company's financials across Chile & Argentina.
  • Drive profitability based on good price management, functional cost efficiencies and operational excellence, while maintaining high focus on working capital management.
  • Drive the Digital transformation initiatives to prove the long-term vision of modern lean-agile company is approached successfully.
  • Focus oncustomer satisfaction and developing long-lasting relationships and partnerships with key customers will be the foundation for Epiroc to be selected as the customer's preferred supplier.
  • Foster a high performing organization, where people flourish in our culture and develop One Team to further strengthen collaboration within and between divisions where there is a strong talent pipeline.
  • Work closely with the Regional Center of Excellence (Finance and HR) and Regional Supply Chain to boost internal efficiency and external customer satisfaction respectively.
  • Develop One Team to further strengthen collaboration resulting in greater customer and employees' satisfaction, securing the combined strength of all Epiroc business lines and legal entities.
  • Promote the sustainable company People Leadership through Epiroc core values, attitude, performance and competence development.
Experience and requirements
  • At least 10 years' experience in similar roles and highly complex matrix organizations.
  • Previous experience in similar industries is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience managing a company with annual revenues of 200 MUSD per year; experience in large service contracts, and managing organizations with 300+ employees in service, strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing and nurturing diverse teams.
  • Degree in Engineering or relevant fields.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish are mandatory.
