
Mobile Test Automation Engineer - Intermediate

- Understand and execute tests for a highly complex business by analyzing integration points, data flows, personas, authorization schemes, and mobile platform environments (Android and iOS).
- Develop and execute regression tests and automation scenarios, and translate automation into an agile continuous testing model.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the software under management by verifying the quality of the code written by developers.
- Work independently to support the software throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Be part of a community and participate in code reviews to maintain our high development standards.
- Track the overall quality of mobile applications or libraries, supporting this status with meaningful metrics and KPIs.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies to address mobile application quality throughout the development process, helping to estimate testing effort, drive acceptance criteria, and shift QA involvement to the early stages of development.Qualifications- 2+ years of experience preferably using Appium/Webdriver.io, Espresso, or XCTest to develop integration tests for mobile applications on one or more platforms (Android or iOS). Alternatively, similar experience with web applications using Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber may be considered (at least one is mandatory).
- 2+ years of experience with test management tools such as Zephyr, TestSigma, Testrail, Testlink, Allure Reports, etc. (any is mandatory).
- 1+ years of experience in CI/CD integration using tools such as Jenkins, Bitrise, Codemagic, GitHub, Gitlab, and/or Fastlane. (any)
- English level is required (B2 or more).
- Show high motivation and have a real passion for learning and actively researching new ways of working and new technologies.Preferred qualifications- 1+ years of experience with cloud automation testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Testgrid, LambdaTest, AWS Device Farm, Firebase Cloud Testing, or similar.
- 2+ years of solid software engineering background in languages such as Python, Dart, Java, Kotlin, Swift, or TypeScript/Javascript.
- 1+ years of experience working with performance testing in mobile apps.
- 1+ years of experience with API automation frameworks, including familiarity with API specifications such as OpenAPI or Swagger Specs (SwaggerHub) and API test automation tools such as Karate, Newman (Postman), or cUrl scripting.
- Experience reviewing unit test compliance during Code Reviews.
- Interaction with Google Cloud components such as Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Monitoring, etc.
- Previous work experience in mobile application development (widget testing and end-to-end testing).
